Denver, CO – BuyQ, a national group purchasing organization for charter and private schools, has announced that Daniel Casselli has joined the company in its new role of President. As a key member of the BuyQ leadership team, Casselli will be responsible for growth, operational excellence, business strategy and client satisfaction. The news comes just a year after BuyQ announced its expansion into private schools after its decade-long, exclusive focus on charter schools. The company now serves 4,100+ schools representing more than $85 million in purchasing power.

Casselli brings with him a wealth of experience in education, sales and marketing. He previously led K12 Enterprise Sales at Class Technologies, where he was instrumental in attracting their first 100+ K12 customers across public, charter and private schools. Before that, he managed business development efforts in the Financial Education Program at EVERFI Inc., which was later acquired by Blackbaud for $750 million. Casselli began his career as a middle school teacher and youth ministry director at Zion Christian Academy in Columbia, TN.
Casselli echoed Rafanelli’s excitement saying, “I’m thrilled to be joining BuyQ. Casselli is a graduate of Grove City College where he studied Religion and History. He lives in Richmond, VA with his wife and son.
