FULL BIO

Kim began her professional career in banking with Old National Bank in 2009. In 2008, Kim obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management from Bethel College in Mishawaka, IN. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2014 with her Masters in Business Administration, with a specialty in Human Resource Administration. After starting her career in banking, she decided to pursue her hopes of becoming a teacher.

Kim taught Kindergarten for three years at local Charter Schools in Indianapolis. She completed her service with Teach For America in 2016, while obtaining her Masters Degree from Marian University in Teaching. She helped launch a local IPS Innovation Charter School in 2017 serving as the Business Operations Manager.  She now serves as the Director of Grant Services and Client Support for CIES.  CIES supports over 20 Charter Schools through Grant and Financial services, which allows schools to be able to focus on what matters most, students and their communities.  

Kim was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana.  Kim moved to Indianapolis in 2013 and now calls it home.  She resides in Westfield with her husband, Justin, and her son, Leo.  Her genuine kindness and authentic approach to life allow her to be a vital asset to Charter Schools throughout Indiana.
